Think of me as your meta-sherpa. Grab your pickaxe, and let's dive into the cryptic secrets and hidden mechanics you need to absolutely dominate.
This is the ultimate early-game chain. Not only does it net you some sweet progression, but it’s also the only way to buy one of the most important items in the game: the Arcane Pickaxe.
Step 1: Accept the Quest. Spawn into Stonewake's Cross and hang a right. Look for a campfire next to the potions shop. You'll see a mopey NPC named Bard sitting against a rock. Talk to him and accept the quest.
Step 2: Find the Secret Cave. Head straight into The Cave. Once you hit the first slope with the NPCs, go left past Umut the Brave and stop at the dirt patch.
Step 3: The Collision-less Mossy Wall. Here's the trick: Don't look for a physical doorway. Just run straight into the moss-covered corner of the wall. It has no collision, meaning you'll fall right through the ground into the Secret Cave.
Step 4: Grab the Guitar. Next to the skeleton leaning against the wall, you'll see the lost guitar sitting on a stone ledge. Pick it up, climb the ladder to get out, and return it to Bard to receive the Unknown Key.

Step 5: Unlock the Arcane Pickaxe. Don't make the same mistake I did and wander around aimlessly with that key. Head straight back into The Cave. At the bottom of the slope, go right this time along the eastern passage. Take your first or second right to find a locked gate. Interact with it to use the Unknown Key and unlock the Fallen Angel's Cave.
Pro-Tip: Run to the end of this cave to find the shop selling the Arcane Pickaxe. Save up the 125,000 gold and buy it immediately. It injects a massive +50% Luck boost into your stats, which is mathematically mandatory if you want to bypass painful RNG when mining rare ores later on.
This quest is a classic rookie trap designed to waste your time. If you don't know the exact mechanics, you'll end up stuck.
Step 1: Reach Level 10 & Go to the Forgotten Kingdom. Once you unlock World 2, the Forgotten Kingdom, drop your portal and teleport there.
Step 2: Find Monke. Right at spawn, turn around to face the water and look southwest. You'll see a cluster of small islands. Swim to the larger island on the right, climb up, and jump/dash over to the smaller island on the left. Monke is hiding behind a rock.
Step 3: The Dialog Gotcha. Monke asks how many Bananites you want to bring him. Trust me on this one: You must choose 30!. If you choose 1 or 5, Monke gets sad, and the quest won't activate.
Step 4: The Backtracking Trap. Do NOT waste your time searching for Bananite in the Forgotten Kingdom. It doesn't exist there! It is exclusive to the Iron Valley back in Stonewake's Cross (World 1).
Step 5: Speed up the Farm. Teleport back to World 1, enter The Cave, and go left past Umut the Brave. This area is crawling with aggressive zombies, so make sure you have decent combat armor equipped. Bananite has a painful 1 in 30 drop chance from rocks and boulders.
Pro-Tip: Spend 350 Gold on a Luck Potion from Maria's shop before you farm. Drinking it gives you a +20% luck boost for 300 seconds, which greatly smooths out the drop rate variance.
Once you gather 30, return to Monke for a massive payout of 5,000 XP and $10,000 cash. This is easily one of the best cash-making methods for mid-game players.
This quest is a psychological mind game that tricks players who think "better item = quest success."
Step 1: Locate Isaac. In the Forgotten Kingdom, head past the Greedy Cey merchant, take a right, follow the path to the left-arrow sign, and walk through the main castle gate. Head left toward the tents near the Ruined Cave. Isaac is lying sick inside the far-left tent. Talk to him to start the quest.
Step 2: The Trap. Isaac needs a health potion. Your natural gamer instinct will tell you to run to the local Forgotten Kingdom merchant and buy Health Potion II for 350 gold. Do not buy Health Potion II! If you try to give it to him, he’ll reject it and ask, "Is this a joke to you?".
Step 3: The Cure. Use your portal to teleport back to Stonewake's Cross. Go to Maria at the potions stall and buy the cheap, basic Health Potion I for just 150 gold.
Teleport back, hand him Potion I, and you'll clear the quest, netting quick XP and unlocking the exclusive Cure for Isaac badge.
This is the ultimate end-game gauntlet in the Frostspire Expanse (World 3), requiring Level 70 to access and a pickaxe with up to 650 Base Mining Power.
Phase 1: The Campsite. Find Raven at a campsite near the Spider Cave entrance. Your task is to kill 5 Crystal Spiders (watch out, their bite hitbox is tiny!), mine 10 Icy Pebbles, and collect 1 Aethrite ore from icy nodes. Turning this in unlocks the Raven's Helmet recipe, and Raven will vanish.
Phase 2: The Sealed Door. Head to the right of Sensei Moro, wrap behind the forge, and follow the path to a massive closed stone door. Raven is waiting there.
Phase 3: Corruption's Heart. Use your key to enter the Red Cave. Head to the very end of the Crimson Depths and look for a hidden bush. Walk through it to enter Corruption's Heart.
Now go out there, use this secret knowledge, and show those caves who's boss!
